I was introduced to Dr. Furman probably about 13 years ago I have been consistent and compliant with the Nutritarian diet often on during that time. When I very first started it, I lost a lot of weight and kept it off for a little while, but then began to put it back on. Before I started the detox program in November, I was at the heaviest weight I never been. Going through the program helped me to remember how good it feels to eat healthy and prioritize nutrients. I still cannot say that I am 100% compliant yet. But during the six months I was able to lose 28 pounds which I am very happy about. I do realize that I’m not done yet and I still need to figure out how to better support myself to be able to stay on track since I am definitely a food addict.
In the last six months, I have stopped drinking alcohol and prioritized eating a big salad every day with beans and making sure I have healthy soups or other food premade. There is no question that I feel best when I am 100% Nutritarian.
