My husband was watching KQE D(PBS-member public television station in San Francisco) and saw Dr. Fuhrman. He encouraged me to watch the program and we both thought that it made sense. We learned that foods such as avocadoes and nuts which we thought were high in calories and necessary to avoid were actually very healthy.
We began the Nutritarian lifestyle and we both have lost 20 pounds and feel so much better. We don't consider this a diet and will continue to follow this healthy eating plan. I stopped taking hydrochlorothiazide for hypertension. My blood pressure went from 197/110 to 116/70.
