Very good! I double the amount of oats to get a better consistency. When I made it according to the recipe it was too watery.

Delicious!! An absolute favorite. I did not have any apples so I substituted one fresh mango instead. Also, I did not have walnuts so I replaced them with slivered almonds. The oatmeal's consistency was great - there just was not enough of it. I consider this one serving instead of two. :)

Very tasty! I didn't have walnuts, so used macadamias, and had it with a little soy milk poured over it.

Used 1 tsp cinnamon and pecans instead of walnuts. Yum!

I added the apples to the boiling water at the beginning to soften them up a little and went with a tsp of cinnamon. Very good.

I also add 2 chopped dates to the water and oatmeal while it cooks. The dates add just a touch of sweetness and rich flavor. I use frozen blueberries so this is easy to make and I can have all the ingredients on hand even when fresh blueberries are too expensive. I just add the frozen blueberries while the oats are still cooking. My teenage son and I love this for breakfast.

My husband and I thought this was very good. He of course added sugar but I thought it was sweet enough. Will definitely be something I make often.

This is one of my go-to breakfasts. I use dried blueberries though, instead of fresh or frozen.

I have been cooking a very similar style usually with apples a cinnamon then adding about 1/3 of a pomegranate when it is done. My nine year old loves this.

My husband LOVEs this receipe. He eats it every morning. I don't have time to mess with the apples so we don't use them and once in a while I add some no sugar apple sauce 1/4 c instead.

Delicious! I added more cinnamon and I didn't have raisins so I used dried cranberries instead and whole flax seeds instead of ground. This reminds me of Dr. Fuhrman's oatmeal recipe in his "Eat to Live" book, but I think I like it more! Yum!
