Strawberry Dreams Smoothie


You can use fresh or frozen strawberries in this yummy smoothie! A dollop of almond butter adds a subtle flavor twist!

1 cup frozen or organic fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1/2 tablespoon ground flax seeds
2 cups lettuce or spinach
1/4 cup unsweetened soy, hemp or almond milk
1 medjool date or 2 regular dates, pitted
1 cup ice


Blend ingredients in a high-powered blender. Add additional non-dairy milk if needed to adjust consistency.

I see the recipe was corrected, thanks.  Love, love the smoothie.  And I love the "Sneaky Pink Smoothie" too!  Bring on the strawberries!

Was out of lettuce, so did it with a handful of spinach instead. Wonderful. Just f***ing wonderful. Better than a commercially bought smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe that I bought yesterday. Tastes amazing! Also added a little bit of more milk to adjust it for consistency.
