The chocolate and pecan flavors are relatively mild, but overall this drink is really quite tasty!

I thought this recipe was delicious. I weighed out 5 oz of spinach, it was great and I wouldn't change anything about it.

This was so good I use frozen chopped  kale which gave a better texture.

Also this is high in calories so try not to have it a lot if you trying to lose weight, i like it when  i am doing cardio /weight training programs..

Currently, this is my absolute favourite smoothie recipe. It is absolutely fabulous to have a shake that is so nutritious and tastes so amazing!

I usually use frozen chopped kale and I used to use half the amount of kale when using frozen in the recipe, but now I just follow the recipe amount and that works great. I also used to be a little heavy-handed on the cocoa. But like the kale, I am following the recipe as my taste buds are evolving. It still usually needs a little extra liquid (1/2 cup of water following the 2 person recipe) for my preference of thickness.

Excellent!  I made as descrbed.  I used frozen chopped cale.  This reduced the prep work.  I might try with half the cherries next time.

Wonderful to enjoy a healthy and almost decadent smoothie.

This smoothie is very interesting. It tasted very similar to a frozen strawberry slushie that I had from Sheetz not too long ago.

Only the one from Sheetz was filled with sugar and unhealthy while this one is fibrous and healthy.

I followed the recipe to a tee and mine came out dark brown as opposed to the green showed in the picture.

I hate when that happens because that implies that mine may taste different from the one shown in the picture and that perhaps I made a mistake.

Google states that 2 leaves of kale equals 1 cup so I put four leaves of kale in my Vitamix as the recipe called for 2 cups.

Common sense dictates that in order to get it greener, I should try more kale so I'll experiment with more kale next time.

I gotta admit that I did use 1.5 cups of dark frozen cherries instead of 2. But that would have made it redder, not greener as the only green ingredient of this recipe is the kale.

But then again, dark cherries as opposed to regular red ones may also have contributed to the less green color.

In any event, it was a very interesting and delicious smoothie.
