A fabulous smoothie that tastes like a chocolate shake. It also works with cherries or other berries and any combination of greens!

Ingredients
2 cups chopped kale
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 1/2 cups frozen cherries
1 banana (see note)
1 cup unsweetened soy, hemp or almond milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
Instructions
Blend ingredients in a high powered blender.

Note: To maximize your absorption of flavonoids, replace the banana with 1 cup frozen blueberries or an additional cup of frozen cherries.
