Have you tried roasting radishes? They are more mellow than their raw counterparts and make a fun addition to any Nutritarian dinner.

2 cups radishes, trimmed and halved
2 cups small turnips, trimmed and halved
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup no-salt-added or low sodium vegetable broth
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
4 sprigs fresh dill
black pepper, to taste


Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Combine ingredients in a 9"x 8" baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until tender.
