Ingredients:

3 cups fresh or thawed frozen cherries
1 cup 100% tart cherry juice or pomegranate juice
3/4 cup walnuts
2 tablespoons ground chia seeds
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup unsweetened dried Bing cherries (such as Trader Joe's brand)

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth and creamy, adding more cherry juice if needed to facilitate blending.

Delicious! I went with frozen Bing Cherries and Tart Cherry Juice. I had Pomegranate on standby - but no need; It wasn't tart. Once again ... thank you Chef James!

I used frozen cherries - however they generate more liquid after thawing - so needed to add a wee bit more chia seeds.  Also used dried cranberries (on hand) and red wine vinegar.  My non Etl husband rated it a 9 out of 10.  Great recipe - thank you for posting.
