I've been wanting to make some hemp milk, and this is delicious! I might add a little vanilla...but still a delicious part of the Immersion breakfasts!

Simple, quick, delicious ... I believe I am weaned off the carton versions :)!This is just so much better, cleaner and too easy not to make. Same for almond milk.

Do you use hulled hemp seeds or whole hemp seed?

I've been making homemade non-dairy milk for years, and hemp milk is the best! I just use 2 cups of water and 1/3 cup of organic hemp seeds. I think hemp milk has the best color of the non-dairy milks, and is really delicious in oatmeal.

Really good. Used raw hemp seeds and one medjool date. My son said we should make this instead of buying the store bought.

Char2871. The Costco near my house has them. Also whole foods, or you can order them online at sites like nuts.com. This is so much better than having to read the ingredients on store bought milks. So easy and good too.

Very easy and tasty. Prefer this over home made almond milk because it takes less straining. Well worth trying!

I am confused about why this only has 3 grams per serving.  It looks like the recipe serves 5, so 2.4 T. hemp seed per serving.  The info on my hemp seed package says that 3 T. has 10 grams of protein (quite a difference from 2.4 T equaling only 3 grams of protein).

Can someone assist?  Thanks.

I soak 1 cup of hemp seeds overnight in 3 cups of water.  The next day I strain the water out.  I then add 3 cups of fresh water and put the water and seeds together in my juicer.  Sometimes I double the recipie so the hemp milk will last longer.  It is wonderful.  Much easier than a blender.
