This is delicious! (I made the "Sauteed kale, shiitake mushrooms, peas, and onions in cashew cream sauce" recipe. Also, I didn't have the VegiZest, so I used a different spice mix that I had on hand).

Just made this last night with the sauteed kale and mushroom recipe and it was delicious! I added a little bit of braggs and some sun dried tomato puree since I don't have vegizest.

Sigh, cashew cream sauce, my love, where have you been all my life? This is what I call nutritarian comfort food! I made mine with homemade almond milk, garlic powder, black pepper, chipotle pepper powder and a dash of table tasty (a salt free seasoning). Pure bliss. As I was enjoying it over some steamed broccoli for lunch, I thought of how amazing this would be on just about anything vegetable! Oh, the SAD eaters this one could convert! I've been a nutritarian for so long, why did it take me so long to try this? I'm so glad I did!

I made this recipe tonight - I like it. I made half the recipe. Further, I used one slice of onion instead of onion flakes and Bragg's Organic Sprinkles. Very creamy, used it on the Kale, Mushroom, Onion with peas recipe. Consistency reminds me of french onion dip. I'd be interested to try it on raw vegetables - like carrots and see if I like it more. I was also happy to see that my cheapo Hamilton Blender was able to handle the raw cashews. Encouraging.

I prefer to add 1 T of lemon juice to give this sauce a slightly tart taste that goes better with most veggies.

Totally awesome. I made this minus any seasoning whatsoever - just the raw cashews and soy milk. I only made half a recipe - just as well as I could have eaten an entire cup in one sitting quite easily.

It tastes as close to heavy whipping cream as you could possibly get without having the real thing. Although my husband (who is not fond of soy milk unless it's in a smoothie) did not care for the "beany" taste, but I didn't notice it at all. Maybe that's just because I like soy milk.

It is wonderfully rich, totally decadent, and could be dressed up with any number of seasonings or even used as the basis for a dessert (I think one recipe here does exactly that). I used a 1/4 cup on a slight variation of the "Forest Kale with Mushrooms" and It. Was. Incredible.

I did manage to restrict myself to one serving. With great difficulty :)

This sauce is amazing. I added fresh garlic and everyone enjoyed this. We put the sauce over spaghetti squash with broccoli and cauliflower. This will become a staple.

I am wondering if this sauce would be good as a "white sauce" for veggie lasagne or fettuccine....any thoughts.
