J A could not lose weight just by working out, now she lost 22 pounds and loves her 27 inch waist
I have always been active and very aware of the foods I put into my body. However, when I hit my late thirties I noticed my weight starting to creep up. After a visit to a nutritionist who looked at my food journal and stated that "it all looks good, I have no idea why you are gaining weight." I was frustrated. I increased my workout intensity and duration to no avail.
Finally, through some internet searching, I found the Eat To Live program and started re-evaluating my food intake. One of the most surprising findings for me was that in order to maintain the current weight I was at (including calories burned through a workout) I needed to ingest 2600 calories per day. I followed Dr. Fuhrman's advice and finally the weight started melting off. I think what I learned most is that exercise alone is not the answer. It's also what we put into our bodies. I didn't have the ratio of foods right. After eight months I'm still following Eat To Live and have maintained my current weight loss of twenty two pounds. And I love my twenty seven inch waist! This is the only thing that has worked for me. Thanks so much Dr. Fuhrman.
