Many individuals who follow the Nutritarian diet write to Dr. Fuhrman about their success. Keep in mind that results vary from person to person. As always, consult your physician if you have a medical history and/or condition that may warrant individual recommendations.
Jerry lost 78 pounds and with it went his diabetes and medications
In September 2013 my wife taped a Dr. Oz show. There was a doctor on that segment that would save me, it was Dr. Fuhrman. I watched the show and was interested in what I heard. So we bought Eat To Live. Wow, what an eye opener for me. We decided to start a new way of eating during my vacation in November 2013.
At that time I weighed 275 pounds and had type 2 diabetes that was a little out of control. I also had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and felt terrible. We followed the plan as described. At week three I would have killed to have a hamburger, but my wife told me to give it the full six weeks. I did, and started to love this new way of looking at food. I'm blessed with a wonderful wife and best friend, who is, without a doubt, one of the best cooks on the planet. She was able to make all of the wonderful recipes without any effort, and she created a lot of her own.
Today, a year later, I weigh 197 pounds and feel great. I take no medications. My wife who has always been in wonderful shape lost 35 pounds and looks fantastic.
