2 whole wheat pitas
olive oil cooking spray
garlic powder


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Split each pita in half horizontally. Spray pita halves lightly with olive oil, if desired, and sprinkle with garlic powder.

Cut each half in half and then into four sections to form triangles.

Place on baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes or until lightly browned & crispy.

Serve with salsa or hummus.

In Eat to Live he states active individuals that are not over weight can have up to 1 tbls per day of oil.

We love these and keep them handy. I used a whole wheat flat torilla that we found in a specialty section at the store (no added sugar or corn syrup). We don't put garlic on top. They are great with soup or salsa.
