This easy beginner smoothie is great for kids and those just beginning to adopt a Nutritarian diet-style. You can increase the nutrient density by added a handful of spinach, chopped romaine lettuce or kale.

Ingredients:

2 cups pomegranate juice
2 bananas
1 apple (no need to peel if organic)
1 cup strawberries, frozen
1 cup mixed berries, frozen
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Instructions:

Blend all ingredients together.

This is an excellent recipe. I didn't have pomegranate juice so just used ice and water. Excellent, this is my new morning drink. Thank you!!

Of all the ETL shakes/smoothies Ive tried, this one is the most like a Jamba Juice smoothie in taste & consistency. I used 1.5 cups pom juice & .5 cup water to tone it down a little. One frozen banana, one fresh. Fresh apple. Frozen strawberries and mixed berries. Perfect consistency and taste.
