Kids and adults alike love this peachy dessert treat.

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana, frozen (see note)
3 ripe peaches or nectarines, peeled and pitted or 3 cups frozen peaches
2 medjool dates, or 4 deglet noor dates, pitted
1/4 cup vanilla soy, hemp or almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth and creamy.

Freeze ripe bananas at least 12 hours in advance. To freeze, peel, cut into thirds, and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.

I always passed this one up in the ETL book. Finally made this for my kids and it was AWESOME! I made it exactly as shown and it was easy and tasted like a peach pie.

I didn't have any peaches so I used frozen pineapple--it was so tasty!

Next time I will freeze the peaches so that it comes out more like fruit sherbet, and less like a smoothie.

I found frozen sliced organic peaches at costco. Made it with them plus a frozen banana. Just like peach ice cream. Amazing!!

This is wonderful- creamy and delicious. I soaked the dates in the milk for a few minutes to soften them and help them blend more easily. Also froze the peaches. This is a great summer (or anytime) treat!
