Having lost 66 pounds Charles is now jogging instead of sitting in front of the computer and snacking for hours
All my life my weight has fluctuated from extremely high to dangerously low. The last fluctuation started two years ago when I developed a strong emotional attachment to food. I would spend hours sitting at the computer scarfing down whatever snacks I could find. I gained over 100 astonishing pounds and suffered from high cholesterol.
Then I saw the film Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. Dr. Fuhrman's participation in the film enticed me to look him up, and I came across his book Eat To Live. Halfway through it everything became clear. If I did not take action right then my family was going to miss me. I had to start immediately or I knew I would just keep postponing it until I never started.
I asked my mother to purchase the groceries and help me prepare the meals. I began to take jogs around the neighborhood. I started out unable to jog for more than five minutes, but soon progressed to twenty minutes. Before I knew it, the pounds started dropping like rocks off a cliff. I just kept at it. Sure, there were times in which I almost quit. The jogging was too hard or the salads were too complex to prepare. I missed YouTube. Despite this, I pressed onward until I suddenly found myself at 198 pounds, 66 pounds less than when I began the program. I feel fantastic, like never before, and believe it when I say that I am not done yet. You may think that it is impossible for you to do this, but so did I.
