Many individuals who follow the Nutritarian diet write to Dr. Fuhrman about their success. Keep in mind that results vary from person to person. As always, consult your physician if you have a medical history and/or condition that may warrant individual recommendations.
Cynthia is thankful her daughter gave her Eat To Live for her birthday; she lost 82 pounds and dropped10 sizes
For my birthday on October 13, 2011, my daughter sent me Eat To Live. That day I did a lot of walking and when I got home I had some blood stasis ulcers to my lower extremities. The next day I went to the doctor and he told me I had to lose weight. When I got home I started to read the book and slowly began to eliminate some bad foods from my diet.
On November 1, 2011 I completely changed to the Nutritarian diet style and it changed my life. I have never looked back. I feel so much better and am off of all but two medications. I let my blood pressure go untreated for so long my doctor thinks I may have damaged a kidney. I was on five different medications so only having to take those two meds is not bad at all. I feel fantastic; I work out on a regular basis. I started out at almost 262 pounds and I now weigh 180 pounds. I have gone from a size 24 to a 14. I thank my daughter and Dr. Fuhrman for introducing me to this new lifestyle.
