Claudia experienced fantastic success on Eat to Live!
Claudia
I'm in a good mood today because I just got the results back from my latest blood test, and it just keeps getting better and better, so I wanted to share. I'm 48 years old, 4'11", and weigh 93.6 as of this morning, and here are my latest blood test results:
Total Chol: 134, HDL: 65, LDL: 58, Triglycerides: 53, glucose: 88.
The most surprising thing to me right now is that I've got a 'reverse ratio'. In other words, the HDL is higher than the LDL, and this is a phenomenon that you tend to see in people who are very athletic, or who get a lot of aerobic exercise. In the past, I've only experienced this when I was really getting a ton of exercise including plenty of aerobic activity, but that just hasn't been the case lately. I didn't think I was really getting that much aerobic activity because I haven't been riding my bike. I have a sedentary job, and my main exercise consists of going to yoga classes several times a week. I work really hard in the classes, and get very warm just standing still when I'm engaging the larger muscles in the body, like the thighs, and I'm sure it does get my heart beating faster, and gets the blood flowing nicely, but its not generally what you would classify as aerobic.
Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised, and just wanted to share.
