Many individuals who follow the Nutritarian diet write to Dr. Fuhrman about their success. Keep in mind that results vary from person to person. As always, consult your physician if you have a medical history and/or condition that may warrant individual recommendations.
Major stress in her life led to Jane's weght gain, now she lost 58 pounds, her husband lost 32 pounds and they are enjoying making healthy recipes
I started Eat To Live weighing 183 pounds and now weigh 125 pounds. It has been amazing; I love most of the recipes and have tweaked those that were not my favorites. When our daughter was killed by a DUI driver July 2007, I gained at least 50 pounds. May 2010 I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, five malignant tumors. After removal of my thyroid, I was told I could gain 40 pounds. I said, "I can't. I've already gained 50." So, I tried to lose on my own and managed to take off 14 pounds before learning about Eat To Live. I was worried about doing the six seek challenge, no dairy, no meat, but my husband said what could it hurt to try. So, we did. Now we love eating this way. My husband lost 32 pounds.
Our daughter moved back home recently and we told her no food could come into the house that isn't on the plan. She is very overweight and has lost 18 pounds already. People ask me how I did it. I tell them about Dr. Fuhrman's books and am sure I have sold many of them. Thank you so much for turning us on to this new way of living.
