Kiana takes the Eat To Live path and recovers from Stills Disease!
Kiana
I developed Stills Disease (symptoms include inflammation, spiking fevers, salmon colored body rash, and arthritis) in March of 2008 at the age of 12. My parents and I did not want to go the route of anti-cancer medicine treatment in order to get better. Though I was put on prednisone at the onset of the disease (30 mg.), a month after diagnosis I began the Eat To Live program and started to slowly taper off of the medicine.
After 2 1/2 months on the program, I had a completely normal blood test and have been normal since then. I am five months into the program and have tapered down to 3 mg. of prednisone. I hope to be off the medicine entirely in the next month or so and owe my recovery to Dr. Fuhrman's plan. It saved me from having to take other highly toxic medicines in order to get well. Excellent nutrition was my cure!
