Derrick has lost 30 pounds following the Eat To Live plan!

I have been following the Eat To Live eating program fairly closely, eating about 10% of my diet from animal products (ground turkey, white meat chicken and fish. For breakfast, I eat mainly fruit, whole grain cereal with soy milk, and the occasional plain toast (very nice sprouted whole grain bread tastes fantastic without butter!). For lunch, I have a large salad and some beans or bean soup. I snack on pistachios or guacamole and whole grain chips, fresh salsa, and usually have rice (brown) and beans for dinner, and more cooked vegetables.

I have been working out mountain biking, and I feel much stronger and have noticeably more energy. In all, I have lost 30 pounds, and I am almost at my ideal weight. I injured my ribs in a fall, and couldn't work out for two weeks, but still managed to lose about 2 lbs!

I eat more fruits and vegetables than a mountain gorilla! I can still go out and enjoy a "regular" dinner at a restaurant with my wife and easily get back into my Eat To Live eating rhythm the next morning.

This book has changed my health, my nutrition, my attitude, and my life. Thank you very much Dr. Fuhrman.
