Julie is free of desiring unhealthy foods and lost 35 pounds  

Since I read Eat To Live I have changed my diet dramatically although I am not following it completely; that's my plan for the coming months. I used to eat a lot of red meat (almost every day) and other animal proteins, and didn't eat a lot of vegetables.  Since reading Eat To Live I have changed my diet to the point where I rarely eat red meat (maybe once every 2 months) and seldom eat any animal protein other than fish.

 My diet now consists largely of veggies, beans, nuts/seeds, fruit, and some whole grains.  I only eat a processed food maybe once a month, if that. It usually just tastes junky to me, even the New York pizza I used to love.  So not only have my eating habits changed, but so have my taste buds.  I've lost more than 35 pounds (with some still to go) and my energy is fantastic.  I'm so happy to be well on my way to being total Nutritarian.
