Charles has let go of his 'cave-man'ways and follows Eat to Live!

Charlie

At age 38, I had a heart attack due to my lifestyle choices. I went the routine of angioplasty. Five years later, I went the same route - angioplasty and stent, another blockage. In December 2007, I had another stress test and although the test results were positive, I was told the pictures showed possible blockages. My doctor suggested I just jump back up on the OR table for another "procedure". I started questioning if this was going to be a 5 year ritual occurrence. My wife suggested we take another route. We went and saw Dr. Fuhrman who suggested what I thought a quite a radical approach. Change my diet! Being a caveman, I must admit I went kicking and screaming. How would I live without meat? What about the rewards of a donut here and there (more here than there of course). In a short time, by following the recommendations of Dr. Fuhrman and his book I am living the healthiest I ever have. My last check-up results were: Weight loss: 40 lbs Waist measurement: Lost 7 inches Cholesterol: 169 Blood Pressure: 110/65 I no longer think meat is necessary to sustain life and I do not run on Dunkin Donuts. The only downside to the weight loss? A whole new wardrobe. Thank You Dr. Fuhrman for all the work and research you have done so others can live.
