Shipping and Return Policies

*Applies to all orders over $50 shipped within the contiguous U.S., and all subsequent recurring orders shipped within the contiguous U.S.
Does not apply to wholesale orders, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico, and international orders.
These will be charged shipping separately. Domestic orders under $50 will be charged a $6 flat rate shipping fee.

Shipping

General Shipping Information
Our shipping department will normally pack and ship your order within 3 to 5 business days after receipt. Please be advised that providing an incorrect or incomplete shipping address will result in being charged for any related shipping costs.

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and Puerto Rico
Actual shipping charges are calculated when your order is packaged and adjustments may be made based on a number of factors including: the types and quantity of items you are purchasing and the total weight of the items. If the actual shipping charge exceeds $16.00, the additional postage fee will appear as a separate charge on your credit card. We will contact you regarding the additional postal fee prior to shipping.

International Shipping Policies

  • Orders are generally shipped via the United States Postal Service.

  • The transit time is an estimated 21-28 days pending customs clearance. If you haven’t received your package within 28 days, please contact your local carrier or contact our Customer Service department using our contact form or call 1 (800) 474-9355 to track your order.

  • A $25.00 shipping charge will be applied to all international orders.

  • Actual shipping charges are calculated based on:
    • Weight
    • Package Dimensions
    • Destination/Postal Code
    • Value

  • If the actual shipping charge exceeds $35.00, the additional postal fee will appear as a separate charge on your credit card. We will contact you for your approval of additional charges. To avoid delays to your shipment, please respond in a timely manner so that we may release your package to ship.

  • DrFuhrman.com is not responsible or liable for loss or damages on international shipments via USPS. The package is insured for the value through USPS. Please contact customer service at 1-800-474-9355 before initiating any claims with the postal service.

  • If the package is held in customs, it is the customer’s responsibility to retrieve it. The customer is responsible for duties and taxes.

  • If the package is returned to us by customs, the original shipping costs will be deducted from any credit due.

NEW Canadian Customs Restrictions

Due to recent changes to Canadian customs regulations, customs is not allowing supplies of supplements over 90 days to be imported. Please check the duration of the supply you are ordering. If the supply is over 90 days (which is more than one of all of our supplements with the exception of the DHA-EPA), please reduce the quantity to meet the allowable amount. We are researching these new regulations and will post more information as we receive it.

From Canadian Customs regulations information:
Over the Counter Drugs (OTC) — Individuals are permitted to import a single course of treatment or a 90-day supply based on the directions for use, whichever is less, of an Over the Counter Drug. The drug must be for the individual’s own personal use or for the use of a person for whom they are responsible and with whom they are travelling. The drug must be shipped/carried in one of the following:

  • Hospital or pharmacy dispensed packaging;
  • Original retail packaging; or
  • have the original label affixed to it which clearly indicates what the health product is and what it contains.

Natural Health Products (NHP) — Individuals are permitted to import a single course of treatment or a 90-day supply based on the directions for use, whichever is less, of an NHP. The NHP must be for the individual’s own personal use or for the use of a person for whom they are responsible and with whom they are travelling. The NHP must be shipped/carried in one of the following:

  • Hospital or pharmacy dispensed packaging;
  • Original retail packaging; or
  • have the original label affixed to it which clearly indicates what the health product is and what it contains.

Expedited Shipping
Orders with expedited shipping will be shipped the next business day. Additional charges will apply for expedited shipping (Priority Overnight, standard overnight, 2nd day air or express saver where service is available). The flat rate expedited shipping charges are estimates only. If the actual charge is more, the additional postage fee will appear as a separate charge on your credit card. We will email you with the amount of the charge.

Wholesale Orders
The actual charge for shipping wholesale orders will be charged to the credit card used to process the wholesale order. Wholesale customers are emailed with actual shipping charges.

Returns Policy Overview

You may return new, unopened supplements*, audio, and video products for store credit. Items must be returned and received within 30 days of purchase date to be eligible for credit. The amount of store credit will be based on purchase price minus all related shipping fees. We will only pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.

Store credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of returned items. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s). Credit must be used in full for a single purchase/order within 6 months of issuance and does not apply toward shipping.

*Excluding DHA+EPA Purity or any other supplements requiring refrigeration.

Items that are Not Returnable/Refundable

DrFuhrman.com does not accept returns of the following items:
  • Open Food/kitchen products
  • Books
  • Posters/Magnets
  • Opened audio/video products
  • DHA+EPA Purity and ANY opened supplement
  • Downloadable digital products
  • Gift baskets and gift certificates
  • Health/Fitness products
  • Skin Care
  • Member Center Subscriptions are not refundable, but can be cancelled at any time

Please contact us immediately if you received the wrong item or if an order was damaged during transit. Please, do not open any of the items. We will give you instructions on returning the items and will ship replacements to you. International orders, credit cards, payments

Due to the high frequency of fraud we have the right to accept/deny orders placed by credit card for International orders. We welcome orders from foreign countries, but we prefer that the funds be wired into our account prior to shipment. Payment can also be made by money order prior to shipment. Duty, customs or other charges will vary according to each country and will be the customer's full responsibility.

Credit Card Fraud

Please be informed that we record the IP address of transactions to help prosecute fraudulent card use and work with law enforcement authorities to investigate and prosecute the fraudulent credit card use.
